Talk of the Walk reserves the right to update of modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. For this reason we encourage you to review these Terms of Use whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.
Shipping
Item Availability
The availability of a product is included on the Product Detail page as either "In Stock" or "Special Order".
Estimated shipment times specify when an item is expected to leave our warehouse, not when the items it received at its final destination. After the item(s) leave our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail with your shipment tracking information so you can monitor the progress of your order. Please be advised that delivery times vary according to the shipment method that you selected during checkout and the destination in which the items are to be shipped. If there are any problems with the order a representative from our Online Service Department will contact you.
In-Stock Items
Our inventory is in a constant rotation between our warehouse and our six store locations. This allows us to provide a greater variety of styles and sizes to our customers. If an item is listed as "In-Stock" this mean that the item will be located, reserved for you out of our inventory and checked to ensure the accuracy of your order and that the item meets all quality requirements, before the item leaves our warehouse. This process will take between 2-5 business days. Please note that business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Special Orders
"Special Order" items are items that are not currently in stock but that are available for purchase through our site. These items must be paid in full in order to begin processing. "Special Order" items will be shipped to you as soon as the item(s) arrive at our warehouse. You will be notified of the status of you "Special Order" via e-mail. The estimated shipment date for all "Special Orders" is listed on the Product Detail page.

Shipping Rules and Restrictions
Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Next day orders will only be processed if the order is received by 12:00pm EST Monday through Thursday.
Items ordered are shipped on an as ready basis. Therefore items ordered together might not always ship together. Your shipping fee is calculated by the dollar amount of your total order, which will remain the same regardless of the number of shipments it which it arrives. If your items are shipped separately it will be noted on you packing slip.
You will not be billed for items until the items have shipped.
Please note that we do not refund shipping and handling charges.
We apologize for any inconvenience; unfortunately we are currently shipping products only within the Continental United States.

Tracking your Order
Once your order has shipped out from our warehouse you will receive a conformation e-mail which will include your UPS tracking number and a link to the UPS website. When you click on the link it will bring you to the UPS home page. Enter your tracking number in the box that says "track packages and freight" to track the progress of you shipment.
Payment Options
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club and American Express for all online purchases. Credit Cards are not charged until item(s) are shipped. Unfortunately, we do not except cash, checks or money orders for orders placed online.
For your security, your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria.
Sales Tax
There is no sales tax in the state of New Jersey for clothing, however please add 7% sales tax on all accessories, which includes but is not limited to all handbags, jewelry and sunglasses.
Discount Codes and Store Credits
We often feature promotional coupon and discount programs. Follow these simple steps to redeem a promotion or discount code:
  1. On the Payment page in Checkout, enter the code in the box next to "Discount Codes." Codes are case sensitive.
  2. Click "Apply."
If your discount qualifies, it will be displayed in the payment summary.
You may choose to use your Store Credit towards your online purchase. Store Credits may only be applied to your order by entering in your Store Credit Code in the "Discount Codes" section of the check out. This code is located on the receipt you were given when the credit was issued.

Returns
Online Shopping Guarantee
Talk of the Walk wants you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from Talk of the Walk. If for any reason you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased through this site, you may return the item within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping and any other fees associated with the order.
The items is to be in original condition (we can not accept returns on worn or laundered items), in original boxes (whenever possible), with all tags, paperwork, parts accessories included in order to ensure credit.
Packing Instructions
Please adhere to the packing instructions below.
  1. Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. Please include all paperwork, parts, and accessories. All items must be in good condition to receive credit.
  2. Enclose the bottom portion of the original packing slip with the item. Please keep the top portion for you records. If for some reason you can not send your packing slip, please include a note that references your order number, billing name, address and reason for the return with the item(s).
  3. Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
  4. Send to return package to the following address.

  • All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We do not accept C.O.D. Deliveries
  • We recommend that you use UPS for your return.
  • Keep the Return Tracking Number for your return package to monitor delivery status.
  • Refunds are issued using the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within 30 days of when we receive your returned order.
  • Credit for gift returns can be issued to the original purchaser or a Talk of the Walk Credit (valid for both online and in store purchases) can be issued to either party.
  • If the return is as a result of a manufacturing defect or shipping error, please contact our customer service department.
Our online return policy does not apply to in-store purchases and your online purchase can not be returned or exchanged in any of our store locations.
Online or In-Store Credit
At your request an Online/In-Store Credit can be issued for any return that adheres to the return policy above. This credit is valid for any purchase through Talk of the Walk as well as at any of our SIX STORE LOCATIONS. Store credits have no expiration date and are non-transferable.

RETURN EXCEPTIONS
Returns on item purchased through this web site will only be accepted by the warehouse. Under no circumstance will online returns be accepted in any of our store locations.
Inaccuracy Disclaimer
In rare instances there may be information on our web site that contains inaccurate information due to typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product description, pricing, and availability. Talk of the Walk reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without notice (including after you have submitted your order).
Product Information
Most product displayed on our website are available (in select sizes) in our stores. However, in some cases merchandise displayed for sale on our web site may not be kept in stock in all of our locations. If you would like to know weather one of our six locations carries a specific item, please contact the store directly.
